Humans are designed to react to the world around us.

Our bodies translate social, emotional, and environmental experiences into chemical signals that influence how we think, how we feel, and how we behave. These signals can enhance our abilities, or impare our performance in the workplace.

Performance inhibitors like stress, fatigue, and poor focus, or behavioural conditions like social withdrawal, mood instability, and low motivation, are all examples of our bodies responding to what’s happening to us, and around us.

If we optimise our environment, we optimise how our bodies respond to it.

OUR METHODOLOGY

OUR ROLE

Programs designed for employee training, incentives, benefits, support, and autonomy are commonly addressed in the workplace - be it through HR frameworks, Health & Wellness initiatives or incentive schemes - but what happens when an employee’s environment is working against them?

Will an incentive drive productivity in an employee who can’t focus?

Will training take hold when a staff members is chronically stressed?

Disengagement with company initiatives can cost an organisation up to 34% of an employee’s annual salary each year*, with retraining, attrition, and low productivity leading to a multitude of aftereffects.

At Life Form, we set the environmental foundations for employees to perform, optimising workplaces to allow professional training, incentives, and policies to do their job—to drive engagement, performance, and business impact.

OUR BACKGROUND

From influence to enablement

With over fifteen years of professional experience in consumer engagement and brand activation, our founder, Braden Loader, spent much of his career working alongside some of the world’s largest technology, entertainment, and consumer goods firms.

While the principles of behavioural economics, consumer psychology, and user experience were readily applied to advertising, branded experiences, and product development, he noticed they were seldom brought into the workplace.

Why couldn't these same tools—designed to motivate people, increase engagement, and drive behaviour change—be used to help employees reach their full potential?

Repurposing these consumer engagement techniques, and combining them with a passion for human performance, became the foundation for Life Form.
